Hi can anyone help me and give me some advice.
I have a
Chaffoteaux
& Maury britony se boiler it is leaking looks like out of the 3 way valve but could it also be from the top of the valve wheres theres a diaphragm top on it.
It only leaks when I run the hot water.
Whats people thoughts which is it likely to be:
the top (dont know parts name)
or the
3 way valve?
Anyone have any good sites for these parts any help would be much appreciated.

a company I used to work for used G.M.S in Ilford essex for spares for these or Fountain Moore & Thompson in Goodmayes Essex not sure if still around now good luck:)regards turnpin

You might have to order a service kit for the changeover valve to get the req'd seal, thats if the manufactures do 1, if not it'll be the full changeover valve.

Ive just been looking and the maintenance and service book and have got the part number for the diaphragm might try changing this first as if its the pin seal surely a new diaphram will come with it in.

Do you guys think this is a good idea I havent got a clue.

Best talk to your spare's people, the should know. don't just use a plumbers merchants, use a specalist, they'll have an exploded diagram or just know their stuff!!!
Or get a local experienced Gas Safe Registered breakdown engineer to help.

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
