Hi,
A customers HWSC in an unvented system is making bubbling/running water noises when ever the hot water is switched on. Hot water and heating is working as normal but noise eminating from cylinder has only just started to occur within the last two weeks. Any ideas.
I will probably refer onto a heating specialist but would like to know reason so I can advise customer. Thanks.

Bit unclear here. Bubbles when a tap's opened or when you've the boiler on feeding the primary?

need more info what make and model also how old also is this direct or indirect?

Thanks guys,New to forum ...new to this plumbing lark too!
Will make a note of make /model tomorrow , as I'm revisitng customer.
Looks like a realtively newish system. Direct / immersion. but need to double check.
Noise just starts when hot water switch is switched on.

can you post any pics as well just to make sure you have all the right safety controls, but you may want to check the immersion stat it should be set no higher than 60 degreesC, Oh and welcome to the forum

Hi ,
No so won't be messing with it ... unless a quick easy fix.
