Anyone know of a volt free frost stat? Need one for a ravenheat combi in a loft. the boiler only takes volt free controls. Can't find one on the internet!

But do you need an anticipator on a frost stat? All it does is reduce the differential between on and off from three or four degrees to about 2 degrees.now I had this conversation with a mate who said it didnt matter if you used a 240v one as he said it was acting as a switch, I am not convinced myself because you would lose the anticipator ?
That only applies to thermostats with an anticipator which require 240V for it to work.If you use wire it as normal, but with a 240v primary coil relay you can then use it as volt-free even with a compensator.
The Honeywell T4360A is a volt free thermostat without an anticipator and is the correct one for the jobBut the best option is to get the correct one for the job
