IS IT POSSIBLE TO ADJUST THIS MIXER UNIT? WE HAVE TO HAVE IT TURNED ALMOST FULLY ANTI CLOCKWISE TO GET HOT WATEROUT.

THE FRONT PLATE WITH MIRA ON IT PRISES OFF AND INSIDE THERE ARE SOME PLASTIC BITS AND A SMALL CROSS-HEAD SCREW IN THE MIDDLE.

THANKS

What’s the hot water system eg cylinder with tanks in the loft ?

Closed pressurised system fed from Air Source Heat Pump. Cylinder in airing cupboard. Both hot and cold water have the same pressure.

Would say the cartridge is on the way out then aslong as your other hot water outlets are ok and the filter in the shower is clean

There is a temperature adjustment screw in the centre of the cartridge, I think it’s a little Allen key.
I would try this first before replacing the cartridge as often it is all that’s required.
Look up the instructions online for your particular model.

Thanks Ben. You are quite right. Found the instructions on line so good to go!
