alright everyone

i just completed my plumbing/gas apprenticeship in the summer and am working on the boiler in my house.
I have an Ideal Mexico super cf 465 which has now had a series of problems.

1.the the boiler wouldn't light and i narrowed it down to the solenoid on the gas valve, i bought a new gas valve for £170 and swapped the solenoid old for new. the boiler works now but only for 5 mins then seems to shut off.
2.i think this second problem is to do with the pump (which was circulating) i began to fiddle with the speed dial which then broke and now the pump doesn't circulate. (wilo gold 50 pump)
i am about to replace the pump with a grundfos ups2 50/60.

any ideas why it would switch off after 5 mins?
any advice welcome
cheers

Hi all. Hope you have all been keeping well. A while back I decided I only wanted to fit one brand of boiler and decided on Viessmann due to space for servicing and changing parts if ever needing to. I am finding my decision rather hard due to the different clearances on flue runs and cupboards...

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
