Hi, we've had a new Ideal Logic + 30 Combi boiler installed very recently, replacing an old back boiler and immersion tank. The boiler has a non programmable wireless thermostat and a mechanical clock fitted on the boiler. Magnaclean Filter installed.
Boiler has a preheat option which is turned off. Frost protect is available via a button thermostat but it is not switched on.
New radiators were installed at the same time with thermostatic valves, except in the bathroom where the radiator was fairly new.
Boiler pressure is fine.

Boiler turns the CH on randomly of its own accord every now an then for 5-10 minutes then turning itself off again.
Boiler is not showing an error messages at all.
Burner light on boiler turns on when it kicks in, burner light on thermostat does not. Burner light on boiler goes off when boiler goes back into standby.
Room temp has not triggered thermostat, neither has the timer triggered boiler as it is not set (I have triple checked).

Can anyone shed any light on this, is it likely to be a fault or is it nothing to worry about?
The boiler manual does say the pump activates and does a self check every 24 hours but this has happened twice today and has happened on other days too.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated before we call the installer / manufacturer
Thanks :)
