Hi guys

I run a small heating and plumbing company and would like to know what software or what methods people use to work out the profitability on each job?

I'm sure we all do many jobs a day so looking for the simplest method? I have a few ideas just wandering what others use.

thanks everyone.

Hello

We've discussed this thread in a moderator meeting and have come to the conclusion that this would infringe on our policy of not discussing prices on open forum.

The main reason for this is that we cover the whole of the UK. Prices vary, profit margins vary.

We don't want people using this forum to try to drive down prices despite the fact that the costs they may have seen are relevant to a whole other region.

We have private forums where you can hold this kind of discussion but you need to meet the criteria for access.

The GSR only forum.

You need to be gas safe registered and have a minimum of 10 posts.

The Plumbers Arms.

You need to be in the trade and have a minimum of 100 posts.

Thank you.

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Hello all, I'm would like to extend an existing outside tap to another point in the garden. I'm about to pour a concrete patio and was hoping to run the water line underneath. There are existing drain (and who knows what) pipes running along the same wall so I'm nervous about digging too far...
