Hi I was wondering what does the 3 T rule mean when you install a hot water cylinder ? I'm guessing it has something to do with the pump : I mean where the pump has to be installed.

Looking forward for an answer as I have never heard about it before.

regards ronny

its not 3 t,the rule is last t piece on the return to go back to the boiler, that way rads wont warm up in other words no returns to rads dhw only on the last t back to the boiler
