should

The English modal verbs are a subset of the English auxiliary verbs used mostly to express modality (properties such as possibility, obligation, etc.). They can be distinguished from other verbs by their defectiveness (they do not have participle or infinitive forms) and by their neutralization (that they do not take the ending -(e)s in the third-person singular).
The principal English modal verbs are can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, and must. Certain other verbs are sometimes, but not always, classed as modals; these include ought, had better, and (in certain uses) dare and need. Verbs which share only some of the characteristics of the principal modals are sometimes called "quasi-modals", "semi-modals", or "pseudo-modals".

Should I call Cadent for this gas leak?

Hello, I live in a residential block with communal heating and hot water. Because I smelled a bit of gas in the boiler room, I bought a gas detector and did a survey. Can you please watch the YouTube video on the link below and tell me if you think the reaction of the detector is expected or...

    Should there be a lintle?

Hi, we've removed a balanced flue gas fire, and want to keep the hole in case we put it back at a later date. My question is should there be a lintle above the opening? It was a new build house, and they have just chiselled the thermalite blocks and then made the flue hole in the outer wall...

Expansion vessel insert, should I remove?

Has anyone installed a Refix potable expansion tank? There's a plastic insert inside the 3/4 threaded connector - should it be left in? I though it maybe to space the diaphragm off the inlet point, but not sure if it's just a protector insert which will stop the tank operating - nothing in...

MuPVC waste pipe should NOT be solvent welded to ABS waste fittings. Why?

In reality though, it's done all the time. Most don't realise it shouldn't be done and the reasons why. So why? What are the potential problems and the likelihood of those problems happening over time if an MuPVC to ABS joint is made and brought into service for hot and cold drainage? Is...
