as title says I'm looking for a placement to complete my gas portfolio I'm 46 and live in the doncaster rotherham area and I'm willing to travel

I am 46 made redundant in December been on a gas course to get back Into A job that I left 20 years back now I have to Complete a portfolio before I can take my acs anybody can help I would be greatful

not start koogtubac but return too it so i know what its all about and believe me its a kot less wearing on your body than some jobs and if you look after yourself you will be fit enough when your'e 70

If you completed an apprenticeship 20 years back or more, then you will be massively over qualified for today's market. As for the portfolio of evidence, you are probably more qualified than the tutors at the ACS centre.

If you have previous gas quals you don't NEED a portfolio , you are a CAT1 and could in theory do assessment only, although I would recommend you do some training first, and again I suppose IV you haven't done gas for a long time you will benefit from gaining some experience, but it isn't a legal requirement
There's a college in Wales advertising a 20 day theory gas course for anyone with plumbing experience, NOT previous qualifications which , quite frankly, I don't know how they are getting away with it, when we do a 6 week full time theory course for time served plumbers
