The Independent is a British online newspaper. It was established in 1986 as a national morning printed paper. Nicknamed the Indy, it began as a broadsheet and changed to tabloid format in 2003. The last printed edition was published on Saturday 26 March 2016, leaving only the online edition.The newspaper was controlled by Tony O'Reilly's Irish Independent News & Media from 1997 until it was sold to the Russian oligarch and former KGB Officer Alexander Lebedev in 2010. In 2017, a Saudi Arabian investor bought a 30% stake in it.In June 2015, the newspaper had an average daily circulation of just below 58,000, 85% down from its 1990 peak, while the Sunday edition had a circulation of just over 97,000. The daily edition was named National Newspaper of the Year at the 2004 British Press Awards. The website and mobile app had a combined monthly reach of 19,826,000 in 2021.

    Help! Need fittings urgent

    Anyone have any idea where I can get some 25mm transition couplings on a sunday? Got a burst underground water main that needs joining but all merchants shut to my knowledge. Don't think Plumbfix or Wickes do them... Appreciate any advice? (I'm in Kent)

    Hi, ive recently had a problem with my boiler.. fault code L3 low water pressure. So ive done the basic things I can do, warmed the condensate pipe and re pressurised the system. It was sat at just under 2 bar 20 somethin psi before and worked but now it will only work at over 2 bar bout 35 psi...

    Ideal independent+ C30 help needed

    Hey, sorry if this is a really simple question! Have independent+ c30 and room thermostat (sarum) has blown relay I suspect. In wait for another unit, is there anyway to get the boiler to operate CH without the thermostat? Can't see anything in manual or any switches to operate in manual mode...
