Hi Guys,

first time poster. I have just finished my level 2 in domestic plumbing at college. I was thinking about going onto level 3, unfortunately in my circumstance, family, working 40 hours a week etc I would rather just go straight onto Gas, if I could somehow find someone to shadow, I'm willing to quit my job and commit full time to learning and building my portfolio. Lastly, I reside in London (Croydon) but am wiling to travel as I have my own vehicle, thanks guys.

Good luck, and I hope you can get what you’re after.

I get where you’re coming from mate but you’re going to need to be useful to the person helping you a lot it’s a very one way arrangement. Do you have real work practical experience on site or in customers homes etc

And that’s fine mate. I don’t think anyone expects you to be an expert from the word go. What I meant was what can you offer someone that might help you out. Might be worth tweaking your intro to explain the hands on experience you’ve had and the quals you have to date that sort of thing

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...
