Hi guys,

Ive fitted a few logic plus but all with standard horizontal flues.

im now trying to price up the same boiler but with a vertical flue for a job ive been asked to quote on. Problem is I cant make out what comes in the vertical flue kit 203132

anyway, the flue will be a maximum of 4m. I will need 2 45 degree elbows and a couple of fixing brackets to support it. Will i need a vertical flue connector for the boiler as ive seen these for sale

just looking for the best option to save a few £££

any advice much appreciated

hi, the vertical flue kit is just the terminal with 1m of flue, you will need a vertical flue connector and the weather slate (i use seldec ones but you can get ideal ones) plus the extensions and elbows ect.

Go for the Ideal weathering slate as I've seen leaks where the seldec ones have moved down the flue. The Ideal ones are also a damn site easier to use.

thanks for the replies guys,

problem is it looks like its going to be expensive just for the flue

vertical flue kit - £79.00
brackets - 2 of - £30.00
45 degree elbows x 2 - £90.00
flue extension (1m) x 3 - £126.00
vertical flue connector - £41.00
wether slate - £40.00

thats a hell of alot of dough just for a flue!!

Ideals normally come with brackets in the boxes so you can scrub that and the 45s come in pairs so you may be able to lose some there.

tell me about it
Shop around abit mate. As said above you get 2 45s in the box so you shouldn't need to buy 2 pair. And if you've been quoted 30 quid for 2 brackets I'd seriously question the quote.
