Went to look at a leaking worcester combi 30cdi, and found it has a pinhole/hairline crack in the flow unit hydro block. (LHS bolts onto plate to plate heat ex)

Any tips or anything I should look out for when replacing the flow unit (87161063560) I don't do too much work on Worcester boilers but it didn't look to bad to replace. Also with the current climate cant be to picky with work

Thanks in advance, stay safe

Easy to do just need silicon grease makes putting together easy

All seals come with it normally sell fitting a shock arrestor at the same time

As others have said it's not a bad repair to do, unlike the right hand manifold. Had two of them go when we've been on lockdown - and usually I hardly have any go! It's easier getting Worcester to do their fixed price repair for that one.

Thanks everyone job done, after dhs sent the wrong part some baxi electrodes (not even close). Luckily city had one on the shelf, heating and hot water back on. Happy customer, and not too bad of a job at all, a lot easier than it looks 👍
