My newly fitted ups2 pump has developed an intermittent fault so need to get it replaced.

The alpha2 i can get for £10 more then the ups2, is it worth getting seeing as it offers better efficiency and should save me a few quid on energy usage?

Any negatives to moving to the alpha2?

Brass tap body is leaking.
I have attached an image of the brass body within a tap. Having replaced a cartridge which has cured a leaking tap, I can see that there is a small leak from the brass body which can be unscrewed. Is there a seal behind the body? Thanks.
