Hi
I am having difficulty fixing a fault on a 5 yr old Baxi Duo tec 28 he boiler, and hope someone can help from their experience.
a few weeks back the boiler came up with E160 error( fan speed error). The fan was erratic so changed the fan with a reconditioned unit but although the boiler worked ok on start up and would continue as long as there was demand, once the boiler rests, it would not start up again sending the E160 error. It needed to be reset by switching off and again the events would repeat although intermittent. I suspected the pcb may be faulty, so changed this with a new sealed unit.
this has made no difference, so I called Baxi tech help and was advised to change fan.
I have changed the fan again although the refurbisher claimed there was no fault with the fan.
I have checked the wiring harness for continuity problems and have even tried another wiring loom on the fan side.
the resistance on the CH and DHW thermisters is within the range expected( about 10k ohms).
the boiler comes up with the E160 error after coming to rest.
any suggestions please help!!!

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...
